Make your own Cordyceps Protein Bars

Will I ever stop bragging about how delicious functional mushroom powders are as a superfood ingredient? Nope, probably not. And so may I introduce you to this great recipe I recently discovered for making your very own? Easy, no-bake, and 6-ingredient only!

Each bar is packed with healthy fats, plant-based protein, and our Cordyceps Mushroom Powder to energize and support recovery while on the go.

Corydceps is the go-to mushroom for its impact on stamina and recovery. 

An ideal endurance-increasing superfood, supportive of strength building, and mitigating fatigue. 

Speaking of which, do you know about the Olympic Games controversy that sparked off in the early 90’s? 

Included in this short list of ingredients are hemp seeds. Included because they are so rich in essential fatty acids and packed with protein. 

Chia seeds are also included in this recipe due to their high omega fatty acids content, fiber, protein, and even antioxidants.

To make 16 bars, you’ll need these ingredients:

  • Food Processor or Mixing Bowl 
  • 8×8 Baking Dish 
  • 1 ½ Cup Unsweetened Shredded Coconut  
  • 1 Cup Almond or Cashew Butter  
  • ½ Cup Hemp Seeds  
  • ¼ Cup Chia Seeds 
  • 1 Tablespoons or 8 capsules of Cordyceps Mushroom Powder 
  • ⅓ Cup Maple Syrup or Raw Honey  
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon 
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • Optional – Sprinkle Sea Salt
  • Optional – Sprinkle Cayenne Pepper

Making Your Cordyceps Energy Bars

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl or food processor until it forms a thick dough
     
  2. Line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper. Pat down the mixture flat into the baking dish.   
  3. Refrigerate for 3 hours, or overnight.  
  4. Once set, lift from the dish and divide into squares. Keep stored in the refrigerator.
     
  5. Grab on the go to supercharge your outdoor adventures! 

Plot twist, you can also use our Mushroom Essential Complex powder if that’s what you have on hand. 

This specific blend contains not just one but four mushrooms; Lion’s Mane, Chaga, Reishi, and Cordyceps.
